I really like these pruning scissors. The orange ones have straight blades, the blue ones are curved. Some plants do better with concave or convex cuts when pruning, so its worth having both.

This fertilizer packs a punch and has helped me save my sad looking areca palms. A little goes a long way and the granules can be dissolved in water, or sprinkled directly on the soil and watered in.

I use a humidifier in a bathroom to give my plants a "spa treatment" - an easy way to get them the humidity they need, albeit in short bursts, but keeping other items in the home that need to stay in a dry environment happy.
